Anyone have any experience with the Orlando area or the Bahamas in March? Trying to get a packing list together but no idea what I need. I know it's always chilly at night but are shorts good during the day? R they pools heated in the ship?
Coming from freezing PA anything above 40 is an improvement but some sunshine would be great!

March is a time of variable weather as the seasons begin to change, but in general the days are plenty warm enough for shorts, and often the evenings are, too, especially later in the month. There's no guarantee of that, but given this is a La Nina year we've mostly been above normal temps in Florida this year. Just check our weather planning page in the regular vacation planning forum when you get close to your trip for better details.

We sailed on the Fantasy last March, after spending a couple of days in the St. Pete's area. Weather was lovely and warm .... not summertime smothering hot, but very very nice indeed. We were able to swim/snorkel in the Bahamas, and our youngest son swam in the pool on the ship, as well as used the Aqua Duck at all times of the day. I always take a sweater out with me at night, but my sons and my husband were fine in short sleeves.
