Karl Holz has announced his retirement to be effective in February, 2018. In his role as President of New Vacation Operations and Disney Cruise Line, he has overseen Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, Disneyland Paris and Aulani. Anthony Connelly, the current Executive Vice President of DCL, has been named as Holz's successor. The transition will begin in October 2017.

Karl Holz is amazing. I had the pleasure of personally interacting with him, and he is everything you would think a leader at Disney should be. Walt would be very proud.
