I am going to be in Disneyland in early December and am wondering if they do Christmas decorations in the parks and hotels like they do at WDW.
Also, what are crowd levels at this time of year?
This is my first trip to "the original Disney park" and want to make sure I know what to expect.
Thanks!!!!

I can not compare it to Walt Disney World, but the Disneyland Resort is definitely transformed during the holidays. Many, many, many decorations at both parks, Downtown Disney, and all three hotels. it's a small world is especially stunning on the outside and special on the inside. Haunted Mansion is taken over by Jack Skellington and his friends, inside and out.
Since the 60th celebration end date has not yet been determined, it is hard to know for sure at this time what the fireworks and parade schedules will look like.
December is usually quite crowded, especially during the two weeks surrounding Christmas and New Years. The beginning of the month seems to be more manageable during the daytime hours and heavier on the evening and weekend crowds as the annual passholders try to get in as much holiday fun as they can before their passes hit the blockout dates. Usually the first weekend of the month celebrates the Candlelight Processional (two nights at Disneyland).

Thank you, Linda.
Since I will be there the first weekend of December (12/3 - 12/8), I hope to be able to see the Disneyland version of the Candlelight Processional. I hadn't even thought of that when I booked, but it will be a nice "bonus" for me.
Looking forward to experiencing this!!!
