So we'll be heading to Disneyland around Thanksgiving week. What special events, decorations, food etc should we look out for both in the parks and resorts?

- Would Small World and Haunted Mansion both have decor up (lights and Nightmare before Christmas theme respectively)?

- Are there any special parades or "Very Merry Christmas" events that we would need separate admission for?

- Is World of Color holiday themed by Xmas?

Been to DL many times but never around the holidays! Excited!! :mickey::mickey:

By mid-November the Disneyland Resort should be in full holiday mode. If things continue as they have in the past you should expect the Christmas Fantasy Parade and Believe . . . in Holiday Magic Fireworks at Disneyland. Also attraction transformation to a holiday theme on it's a small world, Haunted Mansion, and Jungle Cruise. The World of Color at Disney California Adventure should be presenting a holiday version. Both Parks, Downtown Disney, and all three DLR Hotels should be decorated from top to bottom. The Grand Californian usually has a giant gingerbread house in the lobby. I do not know of any parties or events that require special admission fees, other than there is usually a holiday tour offered during this time of year. Special seasonal food and snacks change from year to year but are usually found at many locations throughout the entire Resort.

It is my favorite time of year to visit. It is, however, also one of the most crowded times to visit. Just go with that in mind & keep a positive outlook and you'll be fine.
