Any Intercotees have experience with Universal Studios Hollywood?
We go to Disneyland at least once a year, usually for a RunDisney race, typically stay on property and absolutely never venture farther than SNA or Angel Stadium. However, my DS has developed quite the liking for Despicable Me and the silly minions. We heard Universal has the Minion attraction so are considering doing one of the Grayline bus trips for a day trip to Universal.
I'm a crazy Disney nut and most people are surprised that I would even consider going to a non-Disney theme park. So hoping for some positive feedback to assure me that venturing from Anaheim will be a positive experience.

On our last trip to Disneyland (a few years back, I'll admit), we drove up to Universal for a day. We greatly enjoyed our time there.
