Just got back from 3 days at AKV, Jambo 1 bedroom Value. There is no walk-in shower, it is in the jacuzzi tub. The step to get over the side is quite high, the tub slippery, and there is no grab bar. It honestly made me nervous getting in and out and would keep me from staying there again. Just thought I'd share this for those of us that are no longer spring chickens.
I did like the resort overall though. Can someone tell me if this is the only the value category or all categories.

we have definitely had a separate walk in shower at AKL before (I just looked at my vacation photos), and it was in a 1-br value actually, so they must be in some of the rooms, just not all (i guess?). I know we definitely booked the value category, as I can remember being surprised that we still had a view of the savanna, either that or they didn't actually give us a "value" room, but I don't see DVC doing that....
