How far in advance to you need to cancel a reservation without any penalties? Things are a bit up in the air for a trip in August and it could be the last minute before we know for sure if we'll need the room.

31 or more days - all points are returned to your account in the use year the reservation falls
30 - 1 day - all points are put in a holding account in the use year the reservation falls: Vacation Points in your Holding Account will be good until the end of your Use Year when they will expire. You can use them like you would your regular Vacation Points, except that reservations must be made within 60 days of your Check-In. Vacation Points in a Holding Account also cannot be banked or borrowed.
