We will be staying in a house on Hilton Head Island in June and wondered if we were able to go over to visit the Disney resort there? I would like to check it out.

If you are a DVC member, you should have no problem going to the gate (there is a call box) and tell them what you want to do. If you are not a member I'm not so sure. If you are a member or not you would not be able to go over to the Beach House. You can go there only if you are currently staying at the resort.

You should be able to get in and look around - just tell them you are considering buying resale.
Also, you can walk over from Shelter Cove. Just park on the side with the shops and walk over the bridge. Nothing stopping you from walking around and seeing the property.
The beach house is for members only but again - if you asked, you might be able to get a brief tour from a cast member.
HHI is our home resort. We bought just 60 points resale and go there for either 4 or 5 nights every year.
