Is is more cost effective to buy a 2nd DVC contract or add points to your existing contract. My inlaws have a BLT we use with them every year but we would like to use DVC to come to race weekends. Theres only 200 so with 9 people this doesn't leave anything left over. Which would be best for us to do??

If the original contract is in your inlaws name only I think it would benefit you to get your own contract. By establishing your own contract you would be able to use the member benefits/discounts such as early booking for special events, AP discount, etc. You would, of course, also be responsible for dues. There are usually a few BLT contracts up on resale, our sponsor The Timeshare Store could handle this for you.

Agreed, look into buying your own DVC resale and if you feel the need to go on a members only cruise, buy a small 25 point contract direct from Disney.
