Can anyone tell me how successful members are in getting a DVC reservation at VGC at the 7-month mark? Our home resorts are in Florida - looking to perhaps reserve a few nights in a studio in September or October, but not sure if we can expect availability. Any experiences out there?
Thank you.
We spent a few nights at the Grand Floridian in a studio in March. I had heard that booking at seven months was very difficult but did not experience any issue with getting the dates I requested as the 7 month mark. We had a nice studio overlooking California Adventure!

We got a one bed for 4 nights in August with no problems. Much easier than expected.

Thank you for the information......
AndyPooh's thread is reporting having some problems for a one bedroom and studio for June. I know when we tried for a 2 bdrm in June we had to move our dates. IMO with VGC you may need to have a bit of flexibility.

It really depends on what's going on. I've tried on Day 1 of our 7 month window to get a villa for the D23 Expo three times and only gotten a villa once. The problem is that there just aren't that many villas. With that said you can use you points to stay in the hotel itself...which I have been able to get.
I have stayed in a 2-bedroom villa in the Grand Californian with DVC friends in October and early December, and to the best of my knowledge they never had a problem booking at 7 months out. However, I do know that they were on the phone booking it the minute the lines opened up.
