We just got notified (one month before stay) that Jumbo house is being refurbished and they offered us Kidani. We wanted closer food services and settled for Beach Club. This would also be nice however, it is not the same atmosphere we were looking for.
This was our first stay at Jumbo House (our home DVC is BWV) and were looking forward to it.
We think it was odd that WDW had little notice of this refurbishment? Has anyone else had their January stay moved from AKL Jumbo House?
SCREAM...instead of doing the 2015 promised renovation to the BCV, they are again using it as an alternative while WLV and now AKV are being renovated...WHAT GIVES? And don't say that they will do this too!!!!! Famous last words...when will they have the opportunity to close rooms at BCV if they keep offering it to others?

Pirate Granny I don't get it either. They just announced last week that they would begin BCV in January 2016 and now they're moving AKV? And since when do they move people for a soft goods refurb?

Is there any information about how long the Jambo House renovations will be taking?

We just received a letter from BCV to expect noise between 9-5 due to refurbishments! They must have a plan that works for them? :confused:
