I found out yesterday that there art tours of the bungalows at the Poly. They are daily from 2 to 4 pm. They take you over there every half hour. You meet at the DVC desk on the lobby level. There are no sign ups for the tour, just show up.

They are really nice, and so is the amount of points to stay there. We also got to see a studio. Actually two studios that had a door between them. I liked that there is a walk in shower and sink in one room and a full bathroom with a regular tub.

Marci

Many visits. Live 20 minutes from the parks.
Work at Universal Studios in Diagon Alley. Ollivanders/ wand magic.

Any idea on how long this will be offered. We'll be there in October and I'd love to see that they look like!

This is the time when I really miss DVC's Doorway to Dreams in Woodfield Mall outside Chicago. We were able to "tour" the DVC rooms for Animal Kingdom and Bay Lake Tower when they rolled out. It was pretty cool to see the actual room dimensions, layout and decor without getting on a plane.

I'd love to buy in at Poly but the bonus check this year went to roof repair instead of *fun stuff*. And although I'm sure we could manage I could NEVER buy points using a loan.

My dream someday is to do an extended family vacation in one of the beach houses at Vero then doing the same at Poly for 5 days each. My sisters and their families along with mine.

Tried to get in a tour today. They suspend them in the rain/lightning. Going to try tomorrow, but it will be cutting it close to our magical express time to return to the airport.

I did notice that those bungalows block a lot of the regular hotel rooms of their MK views. I was told the room prices were adjusted accordingly because of that.
