Anyone know what's happening Thursday, Oct 6th? I'm amazed at the lack of DVC 2bdrm availability at 7 months. I could see if it was both Thursday and Friday leading into Columbus Day but on some 6th is sold out the 7th is available (even VWL). Could this be due to all the resorts under refurbishment?

I saw a similar situation 1 week prior to your date. Looking for Studio, and at 7 months pretty much everywhere had 1 random day that was sold out. Mostly that was Thursday Sept 29, but Sat Oct 1 (my birthday) was the other day. Never both. Just one of them.

Official DVC anniversary - ala opening day - is October 1.
Disney tends to celebrate my birthday a lot (Opening Day for MK, Epcot...) :thumbsup:

I had to call and ask MS because my curiosity got the best of me. She said that Thursdays during MNSSHP are normally busy with local owners that go to the party and spend the night??

They haven't been but according to the very nice CM I spoke with people figure that since it was Thursdays in years past, it will be again. She went on to say that when people do this and Disney changes plans those holding resizes feel the need to call MS and complain.
