I saw once before that the ads at the tops and sides are generated by your veiwing history but can also be icot sponsers. My ads when looking at the forums is showing stuff like date arab women and I know my history and that stuff is not in it. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest clearing your browsing history even if you think that's not in it. It may be something keyword related that is throwing the ad engines at Google off by association.

Usually in the top right corner you will see Google ad choices or a blue arrow. Clicking on that will bring up something like "I don't want to see this" and will let you block/customize what you do see. I did find that many of the strange ads I was getting were coming from the news sites.

Thank you for the response. It was strange really, when I went back later, that ads were back to Disney stuff and I hadn't cleared my history. Now I am wondering if I have spyware on my nook. Guess it's time for a deep cleaning.
