I was reading another post about tipping travel agents and got to thinking about gratitude in general. I thought it would be a cool idea to have a thread that was focused only on gratitude! So, I'll start!

1.:mickey: John Yaglenski. Thank you for 21 years ago thinking this amazing site up and not just thinking about it but making it a reality!
2.:mickey: All the Intercotees we have come to know and love over the years, the friendships, and laughs, and memories of all the meet ups! Exactly why we love Disney. And it's even better with others who understand your addiction!
3.:mickey: All the wisdom from the thousands of posts over the years that have made each trip a bit better, easier and more fun!

Well, that's a tiny start... What do you have to be grateful for?

BTW, no thread killers in this thread!

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow!

Is this limited to thinks we are grateful about on Intercot? (although there is so much about Intercot that I am thankful for.)

At the top of my list right now, I am thankful for Texas211's expertise in IT.

I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Whatever you're grateful for! But totally agree that there is so much in Intercot!

I live in a large neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks that allow me to get in lots of walking (age isn't kind to the metabolism ;)).

Nice thread! I am grateful for a husband who has always been understanding and supportive of my many Disney trips. And also glad for said husband's income, which allows us not only to visit the theme parks but also many other interesting places around the world! And double glad that my husband, son and I are in good health and able to enjoy everything we love in life!

I'm grateful for having WLS, if I hadn't I wouldn't have been diagnosed with Hereditary Hemochromatosis. An overload of iron in the blood. Could be fatal if not treated. On the plus side I'm down 67 pounds since November.

I have to do phlebotomy. My ferritin level is over 500. How are they being treated?

Exactly the same but have known for years (we have a great doctor that caught it early) - so they only have to go occasionally.

Aw this is a GREAT thread idea! :rocks:

Okay my turn.
1. I'm grateful for a great job that allows me time off whenever I want to take a trip to Disney!
2. I'm grateful for a healthy, happy family that also enjoys joining me on my Disney vacations from time to time, and doesn't get weirded out when I take off to WDW without them too!
3. I am also really grateful for all of YOU! Since I joined Intercot way back in 2002 I've met so many of you in real life and I'm so happy to call you friends! You're the first people that I don't have to explain why I'm "going back to Disney World AGAIN?!?!" and you understand all my weird Disney references and quotes. We fit together. Smile I can't tell you how incredibly hard I laugh around my Intercot friends - they are some of the most genuine, hilarious, caring and thoughtful people, and even though we come from all walks of life I know that when we're chatting online or hanging out in real life, it's going to be a fun time. So thank you for that! :mickey:
