I am going to try to make it to Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry while DS is on Winter Break to see this exhibit before it leaves Chicago a few days after New Years.
If you have been:
A) Is it worth the separate $27 admission fee after the $18 initial museum entrance fee? Or would you say it's very similar to One Man's Dream at DHS and pass on it?
B) How long did it take to see the exhibit?
They have a few other special programs that I was thinking of snagging tickets for DS and myself, but I need to know how much time to allot to this exhibit before I purchase any other hard ticket activities. I also want to make sure that it's not the "oh we've already seen something similar at DHS".
Thoughts? :mickey:

It is similar to One Man's Dream, but on a larger scale. We've been 3 different times as passholders, so it's much less expensive to get in.
There are videos throughout, as well as some interesting costumes and props.
Off the top of my head, here are a few of things that I particularly enjoyed:
- some history and videos of the Alice comedies
- the multi-plane camera and video on how it works
- props and costumes from mary poppins
- the hitch hiking ghosts
- costumes from enchanted, the Santa Clause and several other movies
You can easily kill an hour in there as there's so much to see.
Since it includes museum entry, I think the $27 is a pretty good deal. If you want to go up the extra $5 to add another experience, we really enjoyed the D-day omnimax movie...it was very well done.
Thanks Marian - went ahead and bought the tickets this morning for both Disney and D-Day. I appreciate the advice. Looking forward to it! :mickey:

We went to it in Jan 2014 and really enjoyed it. Sounds like you have already gotten tickets so I hope you enjoy. We were planning a trip to Chicago and so it was a nice Disney fix surprise for us to see the exhibit was going on. We spent quite a few hours in it and really enjoyed seeing the history, costumes and artwork.
Hope you enjoyed it too!:mickey:
