I have to share this amazing magic that WDW has done.
Some of you may remember that my 9 year old son has ITP and sadly it has become worse. He is now
In the middle of 4 initial rounds of chemo to see if that
Will at least put it in remission for a short time.
Things kind of got worse for him and I had to end up staying home to Home school
him.
My husband found out a month later that his contract was cut at work.
Between constant doctor visits, medical bills and now basic bills it's been tough.
I emailed Disney to let them know what was going on and that I would be late on our pass payments.
They called and gave me an email and said I could possibly get some kind of extension on
On payments since it was extenuating circumstances, and to just have the doctor send a simple letter
About my son being under his care.
I did it. A few days later they called again and said don't even worry that I won't have to finish paying the passes off and they would close the passes out. And that if I ever wanted to
Get passes again it would be no problem..
I was shocked and overjoyed. This helps so much.
And hopefully one day we can start going back again when things are better. David isn't even allowed to run, jump,, ride a bike, anything that could cause head trauma or a possibility of internal bleeding since his platelets sray so low. So we weren't even able to do Disney because of all this.
No matter what, this showed me how they do still care about its customers.

So sorry to hear all that you are going through, and I'm praying that all be well very soon.
Your experience has confirmed what I've always believed - Disney may have some problems, but stories like yours prove that true concerns for their guests, as well as the magic and pixie dust we all love, are very much alive and well at Walt Disney World.

I'm sorry you needed to ask, but delighted that Disney came through. I know the thought of a possible future trip helped me keep going through some hard times, and I hope it does the same for you.

I am so sorry that things have gotten worse. I think of your son often and will continue to pray for all of you. So glad the magic of Disney shined on you today and pray that one day soon all of you can experience the magic again as a family.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts
The thought of going again in the future does keep us happy
Disney just really surprised me. I never expected at all that they would do something like that.
Especially since we just needed an extra month or so to get situated again.
We have an emergency 3 month savings in the event of such things.
My husband worked for a Private special needs school and sadly they just don't have the enrollment to keep up.
The good thing is our local public schools always have openings for special needs teachers so he's already got applications and resumes in and he also has contacts there from being the public system for 5 years before.
But what Disney did really did alleviate a burden
