Disney has filed a construction permit for the two-decade dormant Adventureland Veranda restaurant.
Although the document contains little detail, permit #20150071729 is a Notice of Commencement for a "rehab" to the Adventureland Veranda location and at least a portion of the Liberty Tree Tavern location (abbreviated as AD/LIB).
The diagram included in the permit (below) and the timing of the lengthy Liberty Tree Tavern renovations, imply that the two dinning locations may share new backstage facilities. The reference to main construction site as "Verandah Restaurant" is likely a temporary project name.
It is currently rumoured among Cast that the new dining location will be tied to the Jungle Cruise attraction storyline.

I remember loving the Adventureland verandah (sponsored by Kikkoman!) when I was a kid. Great memories of that place. I'm happy to see it making a comeback.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Kikkoman connection. That takes me back with great memories too.

I was never in there.
My only trip before it closed was in 93 (my first WDW trip) and we had no idea what we were doing.. let alone where to eat.
It looks like a great place to dine, can't wait to see what they do with it. I love the Jungle Cruise theme idea.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
Anyone have an idea on how long this would be before it opened?
