Maybe... But to be fair, Universal chopped the heck out of Wizarding World too... Gringott's should have have so many more effects... Even Hagrid's faced cuts that changed show scenes...You're dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway.

I haven't been digging up the announcement from D23 four years ago, but start there...
I'll list a few things cut:
1) A 3rd attraction, a C ticket attraction where guests would get to ride large beats, Bantha's I believe...
2) A dinner show restaurant with animatronics and live actors... The Cantina was not meant to be a stand alone, it was meant, basically, as a waiting area/lounge for this table service restaurant...
3) Costumed cast members walking around, interacting with guests, as if they are in the middle of a real Star Wars movie/scene/planet... Yea i know, we get Kylo and Chewy and Rey and the Troopers, but we were supposed to get Jedi on the hide out, rebels waiting to strike... You would have been part of the action while walking around the land, not just checking out rock work...
4) Special effects just as actual light sabers (which Disney had worked on a patent for the technology)... I don't mean real laser coming for the hilt... It would have been some sort or cloak and dagger hidden mirror affects...
5) How about shows randomly taking place, among the streetmosphere actors and actresses...
