Well, the Hatbox Ghost is officially back at DL, and looks fantastic! Does anyone know if there are plans on him haunting WDW as well?

At one point, there was talk... I think they may be discussing it again... I saw the video... Would make for yet another wonderful addition to the Haunted Mansion... If they add Hatbox Ghost, they need to remove the silly grave yard queue.... Then, HM would be near perfect...

I agree on both counts! Hatbox needs to be added and the graveyard armature hour comedy show needs to GO!

In the attic, right after the bride. The bride is on the left, and then your Doombuggy turns to the right and there he is! You immediately exit the attic at that point...

Certainly would be a welcome addition... The video looks great. It's especially cool that they were able to realize the original imagineers vision for the ride by adding him back in....

I agree, except that the replacement of the forlorn bride with the evil bride changes the context a bit. Before it was, "Oh look at this poor (albeit creepy) lady. I wonder what happened?" and then you see the Hatbox Ghost as a kind of hint. Now you just kind of have two creepy semi-evil ghosts hanging out together. Don't get me wrong, it works either way, but the feel is a bit different... I still think it looks great, though!

I kind of like that aspect of it. Also, consider this dismaying observation, the hatbox Ghost's portrait is all throughout the Mansion. Ties it even more together if you ask me. (it was my first time at the DL version so forgive me if everyone already knows this) It was a cool effect.

That's true! The Hatbox ghost never really left...his picture was always there...
