About 2 years ago, Disney reached out to some major institutions/corporations to get them to participate in developing a "future display" for this area.

I know for a fact Union Pacific Railroad was one of these companies.

We might find something pretty interesting put in here during the refurb.

Am I a huge disney fan? YOU BETCHA! I blame it all on my parents! They are the one's that walked around Disneyland all day to induce labor! Yep, I've been going to Disneyland since the day before I was born!

It is about time! Boy, does Innoventions need a refurb, East and West! I love Epcot but it is no longer an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It is a community from yesterday. The only reason Epcot is my favorite park is because of the diverse culture, food choices and experiences that come along with the world showcase.

Time to bring back communicore - and allow guests to enter either side from the bottom, and walk all the way thru the top.

My sources are saying this closing could last a while though... a replacement that has not been worked out yet.

Oh and to add insult to injury - not only do they not have anything decided yet on what to do with the one side they are closing - "Temporarily" is code for we don't have anything decided yet despite how it might sound, the Vision House exhibit on the east side is closing even sooner...

So, there's that.

Ugh. Not that the Vision House was exciting but it was something to do. I I was pretty sure that is what temporarily meant especially since nothing has gone in the space where the Segways used to be or the Velcro and they both closed ages ago. :(

There's the answer! Play with the pig, and then set in on fire in the house. No need to close anything! Smile

And you can have Sonny's Barbeque sponsor it!

I can only guess that the reason they run this so poorly is because guests let them get away with it. The things to do at Epcot have continually declined over the years. I've said it before, but I'm pretty certain there was more to do there back in 1990 than today (and you paid a lot less to do it as well, even adjusted for inflation).
