I'm not a Pandora fan but if there's going to be a ride similar to Soarin' I'm in.:) I'm sure this will bring the masses to the park. I can't wait to hear reviews once it's open.:)
Love it. I ADORE the conservation message and that Disney is continuing to push the idea of valuing nature. Cannot wait to see this.

Well, it does sort of meet the representation of the dragons in the park signs.. The "beastly" realm sort of concept.

It is currently rumoured that the new land will hold a preview for a limited number of pre-registered Annual Passholders on April 8th and 9th, 2017.
Further previews or Public Previews (soft opening) have not been rumoured at this time, but still appear likely given past precedent.
If (when) there is a soft opening, how will that work? Does Disney announce it? Or do you just stumble upon it when you're in the park? I'm assuming FP will not be available during a soft opening. Any thoughts on experiences from past openings?

You would probably hear via social media if you follow enough Disney outlets. People will talk. Disney won't officially announce a soft opening but it is very likely that a lot of the month of May will be soft open.
And no, fastpasses usually aren't in effect during soft open.
