Cast and Guests have reported that the Hitchhiking Ghost Tiki Mug and Chilling Challenge cocktail arrived at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto last week (10/4/16).
Unlike the Disneyland Hotel appearance, Guests are limited to one mug per person and a cap of 200 mugs will be sold per night.
The below publicity picture of the mug indicates this version has a new blue-ish tone, but otherwise is the same form as the version that appeared at Disneyland in September 2016:

Cast at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto have recently reported that there are plans for the 2016 MahaloWeen Tiki Mugs to materialize on both coasts.
Although exact dates have yet to be reported (or announced), the Hitchhiking Ghost Tiki Mug and Chilling Challenge cocktail are reportedly planned to re-appear at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel and materialize for the first time at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in "Late October 2016".

Looks pretty cool overall but not totally sold on the "Tiki/HM Ghost" combination. Nice addition to anyone's mug collection....
