Just curious, does Disney usually do anything big for opening of their films at the AMC in Downtown Disney? I noticed that Big Hero 6 is opening during our trip, and was wondering if they'd be doing anything to celebrate.
I was there was the opening of Pirates of the Caribbean (the 3rd one, I always get the titles mixed up) in 2007. Everyone was in costume, theater personnel included, and they were literally showing the film in every theater from 8pm on. Other than making a spectacle of and promoting the costume wearing, I don't think there was anything "special" about it. But it was fun times
