So, we've all heard how bad the traffic and parking is at DTD..
How is it with the buses? Are they stuck in the same, hour long traffic horror that all the car people are waiting in? Or are the buses managing to avoid the traffic somehow?
I know they're currently paving bus only lanes, but unfortunately those aren't hear yet.
We took one trip down there on our recent trip. I noticed one street having construction, but the bus wasn't affected. This was on a Saturday around midday.
I believe most buses take the routes behind DTD, by Old Key West and Saratoga. I didn't notice any construction over there.

They seem to be going to and from DTD by way of the road that Old Key West is on.
We were there in March and the driver went the back way into DTD and dropped us off at the regular bus stop. No problems at all. We are going in October and will see how it is now.:mickey:
We had to take the bus once from DTD back to POFQ (the boat was stopped due to a storm) and I was really worried about the traffic, but the bus didn't get caught in anything. Although I can't promise, I think by just using the Marketplace stop, it allows them to avoid the worst of the congestion.
