Downtown Disney seemed to have very slow and infrequent bus service. I wanted to shop and look around, but it was such a slow journey both there and back that I seldom bothered.
Does anyone have a feel for Disney Springs? I was hoping for easier transport for the random short trip to shop or eat.

We were there in the fall. Didn't think the buses were that great. Fortunately, from POR, we were able to take the boat most of the time.

We stayed at Pop Century in January. Minimal waiting for busses on the night we went to Disney Springs.

We had no problem with the buses from Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Disney Springs busses seemed better than DTD. Perhaps it is because much of the construction is over, and it is just generally easier to get around Disney Springs, or, Disney wants people to visit the new area, so they are paying more attention to what used to be a horrible bus mess!

I used Uber several times last may and it worked fabulous. For example we went to the Boardwalk one evening we took the Uber from there to all star music. It was Like 5- 8 dollars and he even stopped at Gas station so my daughter could buy a phone charger real quick. After we left magic Kingdom late there were huge bus lines . We ubered to the all stars it was around 12 dollars but saved us a lot of waiting around for busses.

I took the bus from DS to the Poly and back at the beginning of March. The wait wasn't horrible, but it was longer than normal due to construction. Hopefully much progress has been done since I went.

We went from All Stars the other night. I felt like we drove all over the place to the point where I asked a fellow rider if we were on the wrong bus. I think it took about 30 minutes (honestly). However, the car traffic was really congested so I don't think that would have been a better route.
