So, I know that the times guide shows this is from 7-10pm daily, however, it's not the same thing every night. Some times there is an interactive DJ that involves the audience and has various competitions. I won the Simon Says competition when we went in January.
Other times, there's just a DJ who mixes music for three hours straight. No interaction.
Does anyone know when the interactive guy is there? My daughter *loves* that when he's there. But we usually only hit DTD once per trip. We'd like to do it when he's on. There is nothing posted on the WDW site about it.

This is a tough one!
All I can find on the Disney site just talks about the generic "dance party".
I wonder if we can figure out a schedule with our combined INTERCOT wisdom ... maybe it is a weekend thing?
Do you remember what nights the "fun" guy was there during your last trip? Does anyone else remember the better dance party details?

I *think* it was on Wednesday evening. We went back the next night, and it was just some guy mixing music for hours on end. The kids didn't want to have anything to do with that. They like the interaction.
A couple of years ago we happened to be there for dinner, and they were doing the dance party outside of Earl of Sandwich. It was perfect, because the crowd was all standing around (no seating), and so everyone was dancing. And he would pull people randomly out of the crowd to do stuff. That's when my daughters got hooked. He's really good.
