My husband noticed people on a walkout while in the safari ride this pat October. He asked "how can we walk out there sit down and have a beverage?" If memory serves me it is where the savanna really is wide open, near the giraffe area. Anyone know what I'm talking about and how we would do this if possible?

Yes. That is a stopping point on a tour offered in Animal Kingdom called the Wild Africa Trek. It's a pretty pricey tour ranging from $189 - $249 per person depending on the season in which you are there.

There Wild Africa Trek is an little pricey, but it's great. DO and I'll did they trek once and we would definitely do its again.
