Two of our party had to back out of our upcoming WDW trip and Sep 2 Halloween Party.
I am confident that the tickets are non-refundable, but does anyone know if they can be given away (or is there something that ties the tickets to the purchaser? I am happy to give them away, but the thought of them going unused really bothers me.
They are non-transferable which means they can't be resold. You can buy tickets for others as gifts.

The tickets are non transferable but they also have no name on them. I had someone back out last year on Holloween night and I posted them on craigslist at face value and sold them within 5 min.
You can reassign the ticket to someone else through My Disney experience if they have a profile on your account. The physical tickets have no name on them and are only designated by the type of ticket Adult/Junior etc.
