Do they take fastpass reservations during the party? If not, what about the people who get in at 4 with their party tickets? Do they make fastpass + reservations for the time between 4 and when the party starts?

No fastpass during the party. I know we just wing it when we get there. By 5pm we were in line to meet the 7 Dwarfs. We were done with their meet and greet before the party ever started. Lines for the meet and greets form early and are very long. BUt we had a blast and will do it again
No fastpass during the party. You can usually get them right up until closing time (7)

Sweet! That is what I was hoping for. 
My son and I can go ride Big Thunder while the parents take their little ones to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

However, I am pretty sure you can only book a Fastpass+ if you already have a park ticket, not a ticket to the party.
