When you link your tickets to your magic bands do you still have to show ID when you get to the main gate?

Are you asking if you need to show your id when you go into the park or the first time you use/renew it?
If you have a voucher and not the actual pass, you do still have to activate the pass with an ID. After that I have been asked for it for parking or pass holder discounts but nothing else.
Edited- Now that I reread your question, I think you might be talking about the regular FL resident tickets not the pass not the annual passe. You should still need the ID for the first use.
