I'm planning a trip from November 3-7. It's my first trip back since 2012. I've been looking at the closing and refurbishment schedule. I'm very sad that I'm going to miss my favorite Rock 'n Roller Coaster.:pout:

My S-I-L told me that she heard iasw is being totally changed. I'm finding that very hard to believe since it's such an icon of the Magic Kingdom. Is she right or is it simply being refurbished?

I think the IASW refurbishment is only scheduled for 3 weeks so I think it's probably just maintenance.

I agree - the length of the scheduled refurbishment does not point to any major changes.

The condition of the pavilion was downright filthy and in quite disarray, appears to be just routine as mentioned above with low down time.

Probably picking up the change. They have to pay for Avatar and Star Wars land. Smile
