Busy, but not impossibly so. Epcot draws crowds on evenings and weekends with the Food and Wine Festival. Weekends at Epcot are packed throughout October. Also, Columbus Day weekend and the weeks around that tend to draw slightly larger crowds. Plus, there's the Halloween Party schedule to work around at Magic Kingdom. But it's a good time to go. Great weather, lots to do with the F & W.

We love visiting that time of year (were just there this past October), and yes, it's quite busy.

We didn't really do any major attractions without FP (except for HM, Star Tours and one fluke time at BTMRR). We were pretty surprised at how packed DHS was, too.

Epcot was pretty packed from Thurs-Mon. There were a fair amount of highly intoxicated people swearing and swerving all over the place.

MNSSHP was sold out every night they had it during our 11 days there.

The weather was amazing. We really had gorgeous weather.

We had a great time, but notice that October gets busier and more packed each time we visit.

:ditto: October used to be a great time but with Food and Wine Festival, MNSSHP, and lots of school systems now doing fall breaks it's pretty crowded and seemingly more so each year. But, that's also true almost year round. You can't find an uncrowded time any longer. So you have a plan and make the best of it. You can still have plenty of fun even with crowds.

Agree. Over the past several years we have seen October get much busier. This year we were there from 10/3 -13 and really noticed an increase. Talked to more than a few parents who said that most Midwestern school districts (and other areas for sure) now have some sort of an October fall break. Plus throw in the Tower of Terror 10 miler (DW and I really loved it) and it was busy.

So no more posts about Jersey Week in November - seems we have company. :mickey:
