If magic Kingdom is unavailable on a day but I buy the still available tickets for the party that night, will they honor those tickets for the party (entering at the start, like 6pm I think ) thanks for anyone who might know.

"Event" tickets are completely separate from daily park tickets. If you have an "event" ticket, that assures you entrance for that event. No 'park reservation' necessary.

Just a quick update - you can enter MK with a party ticket as early as 4pm, but the party "stuff" doesn't start until 7pm. (no reservations required, just a party ticket).
