Then you don't follow INTERCOT on Twitter. 
I went on 8/6 and 8/8 when it was supposed to be open.
While I did see people riding it throughout the day, each time I went by to attempt to ride (4 times, twice each day) it was down. :(
this is for some reason one of my favorite rides.

It's one of my favorite attractions, too. My wife and I always ride it but usually after we have been running around the MK for a while. It is nice to just sit for about 15 min and enjoy the ride.
