If we want to leave Epcot and head over to Hollywood studios using the skyliner is there a direct route or do we have to get off at one of the resorts and transfer to another line over?
You will take the skyliner from the international gateway Epcot and it will take you to a couple resorts, then you have to disembark to get on the gondolas to Hollywood Studios. It is a nice ride but not direct.
You can use the boat transportation by international gateway that stops at Boardwalk/Beach Club/Swan& Dolphin and get on the boat to Hollywood Studios.
You'd have to transfer at Caribbean Beach Resort, where you'd need to get off the Skyliner and transfer to another line regardless of where you're headed.
