Magic Kingdom Cast have reported that Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive experience will cease operation on January 24, 2021.
Coinciding with the final date for this offering, the Main Street Firehouse will subsequently close for refurbishment for an unannounced period of time.

I know many people will be sad by this news. We were only ever frustrated by the game, we could never get it to work quite right. Maybe a version will be part of the Play app in the future?

My Disney Home is POFQ
My kids loved it. They collected cards visit after visit, and they would break from us parents to run around and play it themselves. My "kids" are now 24, 21, and soon-to-be 16. We have a trip planned in May, and they had the cards all bundled and ready to go. They're pretty sad to hear this news. They were speculating this morning that maybe it's getting a makeover and will be reintroduced as another game, like they rethemed the Kim Possible game at Epcot to be a Phineas and Ferb game.

We never got to experience Sorcerors of the Magic Kingdom. We always meant to one day, but never got around to it. I have to say that we all LOVE the interactive wands and spells in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, so I'm sad that we won't have the chance to try SotMK. We were just there last week, too. If I had known this, I would have played.
