Fellow Intercot'es has anyone heard rumors from cast members, or other sources on a possible opening date for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge other than late fall 2019.

My family and I will be at WDW the second week of Sept. We would love to be able to see it while there.

Thanks in advance....:mickey:

I've heard December.... MAYBE November if construction picks up and there are no set backs... But those time frames aren't set in stone...

I'm actually hoping to miss it when we're there in early October... not the Star Wars area itself, but the overwhelming crowd that it will draw in for the 1st year or so. Haven't see the estimates for WDW yet, but the forecast for Disneyland when Galaxy's Edge opens this summer is that the crowds will be somewhere around 4-5 times the park's capacity. No thanks... I'll pass on that.:crowd::crowd::crowd:

Seeing that the Disneyland version is supposed to open months before the WDW version, maybe they have some good shots from CA already.

OR was it the concept art?

September will very likely be too early.

The official line is "Late Fall 2019" which at best could mean around or after the Thanksgiving holiday.

2nd week of October here, and not thrilled either; was hoping to be able to try Mickey's Runaway Railway, but now it looks like it might be near impossible to even get into DHS.

What does everyone think about the probability of WDW adding extensive EMH for DHS in Sept/Oct for the Galaxy’s Edge opening, similar to what they did in July/August for the opening of Toy Story Land? I think I could deal with the planning stress better if I thought the park would have a daily 7:00 or 8:00 EMH opening instead of 9:00, and have a late EMH close on Fridays at 9, 10, or even 11 instead of 8:00.
