This will be a condensed report. DH and I stayed at CBR - Jamaica for the first time and loved it. The only downside was the bridge being out and having either a long walk or catch a bus to Port Royale. Loved the grounds and mousekeeping was great.
Visited all four parks and had only minor wait times for all rides (we did not use FP+), I think the longest was 20 mins for Jungle Cruise and the safari ride. Did everything we wanted with no hassles at all. Everyone using FP+ were running around like chickens to get to their next ride, I don't like to spend my vacation tied to that much of a schedule.
Utilized the dining plan this time and did not have a bad meal all week. Way too much food for us though and ended up getting snacks for the left over CS we did not use. It was nice to be able to do that.
DME was good. First time my DH used this service and loved the fact he did not have to drive in the crazy Orlando traffic.
Had friends from south FL come up to visit one day. It was great seeing them and we did a resort tour of the monorail resorts. I had been in some of them but no one else had and they were very impressed.
All in all a great trip but it will be the last one for awhile. Disney has gotten way to expensive for us older folks on fixed incomes to be able to go very often.

That's rotten that the bridge was out at CBR! That would be a huge pain!
Great that you were able to show off the monorail resorts! We enjoy doing that too!
Too bad the costs have gotten so high! Disney seemed a lot more affordable when compared to our income 10 years ago.

My sister in law told me there was no bridge at the CBR when she stayed two summers ago. That's a shame it's gone.

I agree about the "too expensive" statement. I had sticker shock on this trip at some of the pricing. Will be a while for us, too.
