We are headed from different corners of the country on the 11th of Sept for an extended family trip to WDW that has been in the works for about a year and a half. I was hesitant to write this up because due to work issues it was looking like I might not make it. But thankfully I think we have everything covered. (Hoping that typing up this little pre-trip report doesn't jinx me!)

Cast includes:

Janet-Me-39 (how can I be 39?) DBF is staying home to run the business and will not be joining us. I'll be driving solo from North of Atlanta.

Grandma and Grandpa-Ageless. My parents...benefactors of the trip, flying in from Arizona. Mom and Dad and I are all staying at the Wilderness Lodge for the majority of the trip.

Heidi-My mom's cousin flying in from Ohio (staying at Riverside)

My Brother, his Wife, my Niece and Nephew-Driving down on the 17th to join grandma and grandpa for the second half of the trip. Staying at the Poly.

So as you can see with different arrival dates, times and hotels the planning was a little wonky. Basically we are spending Sunday night at a Cabin at Ft. Wilderness before swapping to POR and WL on Monday am. We are all on the free dining plan booked on a bounceback.

ADRs include-Hollywood and Vine for the Halloween themed dinner, Trattoria al Forno, The Wave, breakfast at Garden Grill, Chefs de France, Liberty Tree, Be our Guest Lunch, Ohana Dinner and Whisper Canyon Cafe dinner. (Each person got to pick some favorites so there are a few in there I'm not super keen on but we tried to give everyone a chance to eat at their favorite spot.)

I've got all our FP booked and we have photopass which is just a must for a bigger group. Looking forward to it and hopefully all these tropical systems will work their way out prior to our trip!

Sounds like fun! I'm sure it was a lot of work to put it all together but I'm sure it will all be worthwhile!

Sounds like a good trip! In the end, the wonderful memories are all that matters, not the hectic scheduling. Enjoy!
