So myself, the DW, and our two DS' made it to the 'World' for a few days after time with the In-Laws in Delray Beach. Here's a quick summary:
Tues. 29th/
Arrived early p.m. to our old fave - the POLY!! Check-in simple and I was really eager to see how the finished lobby looks with my own peepers - and I like! From pictures I've seen and comments read I thought it would be more barren and lacking the tropical feel of old. But nicely done I say. Room not ready (in Pago Pago Bldg) so we checked out the changes outside - the "quiet" pool is a hidden gem - well, not hidden - but big with food and drink options....very nice. Decided to jump on monorail at TTC and head to Epcot - TT and SE FPs. Hit Spaceship Earth then did the Pixar attraction - definite  addition to the park. Then off to TT but the rain beat us there and it was down. BUT my Disney-savvy DW went over to the CM out front and asked for the old 'paper' tickets to return. The CM asked how she knew about this and told her to keep it hush-hush, and handed her 4 passes to come back anytime over the next few days.
Back to the room just in time as the skies seriously opened up for a bit. Off to MK and LTT for dinner. Really good esp. the pot roast & mashies. Managed to hit up HM, Buzz, and Pirates then called it a night.
Wed. 30th
HS first thing - TSM twice, R&RC, DW and DS2 did TofT 4 times!! DS' sad to see sorcerers hat gone and the park is generally lacking as many changes/closings in progress. DS1 and I did poke around behind the Lights, Motors area before the show and watched the cars and bikes practicing. Back to POLY for some pool time then off to Epcot for dinner at Chefs de France. Yummm! Lobster Bisque was some of the best I've tasted and you could go swimming in the bowl! Mac n Cheese (DS') and Beef in Burgandy Sauce (me/DW) were both reeeally good as was the dessert. Would have used our TT FP but older DS was not feeling well (too much bisque?!) so we caught some of the fireworks on our way out and called it a night.
Thur. 31st
AK to start - Hit Safari twice and the animals did not disappoint, DW and DW2 did EE 3 times, Dinasour then off to Epcot to use TT FP's. Rode with DS2 and his car design was almost the highest efficiency score on the wall at the end. THEN off to MK to see what FP's were available for later. All we could score were some Buzz. Busy few hours. Back to POLY, DS' checked out Volcano pool, I was on laundry duty and DW did some pre-packing. Then it was O'Hana time! Very good all the way around - glad they are pretty much back to the old menu items. Then back to MK for some Buzz, IASW, Peoplemover, Speedway and fireworks. And done.
Fri. 1st
Last day already?! :( Breakfast at Kona's then finished up at MK with HofP, Pirates, Buzz, SM, Speedway, BTMRR and finally Splash. Told DW last FP for Splash and then we are leaving possibly soaked not so wise and she said ahhh, no worries. Who got drenched....you guessed it!
Final Thoughts:
Easter Week is crowded. Very crowded. Where did Spud go on the TSM ride? Room for more winding lines I guess. Monorails were spotty this trip with 2-3 delays because trains were being moved/added/whatever. Still great convenience when staying on a resort line. Zero CM problems. DS' enjoyed the speedboats now that they realize they can get a close-up view of the now creepy looking River Country area (you would think that it would be long removed/dismantled by now right?). Well, until my end of summer report for our first DL trip - happy travels all!! :mickey:

So this is your way of keeping it hush-hush? :-)
I think I'd heard that Mr. Potato Head is only gone from the TSM Q while they get ready for the third track?
You guys got a lot done, given the crowds!
