We arrived Monday April 4 and returned this morning April 8 at 1 am. We were in the 50s building lake front area. We did request that area so we were very happy. Bowling pin pool was wonderful as it really never got crowded. I did notice the crack down by the lifeguards on the kids running and rough housing. In past stays we noticed this was rarely enforced. ALSO adults who cannot follow the rules and smoke in the designated areas were told to not smoke in the pool area! This also made me extremely happy!! Our room was really clean and comfortable as usual!! The food court was a huge disappointment!! Except for the bounty platter and waffles all the other food was a huge let down! This was our 10th stay here at POP and usually the food is good. Hot food was cold , pasta was mushy, burgers were like hockey pucks. We are not cheap people or picky people . Disney charges an arm and a leg for their food and all we want is what we pay for. Every time there was an issue we found a manager and the issue was resolved. All employees were very pleasant and happy. The parks were crowded but manageable and we always have a plan which having a plan is a must when vacationing in Disney.
All in all we had a fabulous time with some "bumps in the road", :thumbsup:

I'm glad you had a generally good stay. I'm happy the lifeguards were cracking down on things, but that make their job harder! Why can't people just follow the rules?

Sorry the food court was a bust. I've only eaten dinner there once and always enjoyed the breakfast. It's been a number of years since I've been at POP, I'm glad it was still a pretty positive stay for you!

Glad to hear they are cracking down on smokers in the common pool areas...I know that in the South smokers still can smoke in places, but in NJ...it is very strict and most places and common outdoor areas are smoke free. I don't miss smelling smoke either....

I wasn't happy with the food court this time. It seemed to take forever and the 2 adult meals I ordered were not great. It's too much food anyway.
