Well I'm home and back to work (blah) but wanted to take a minute to talk about the last day of my little adventure. We were up fairly early and hit the Animal Kingdom by around 9am. We waited around 1/2 an hour for the Safari since we had FP later for MK. We wandered around Harambe a bit and Lisa had a snack and I had a bloody mary (yum). We caught the 11am showing of the Lion King show (barely) I think we were the last people they let in without a FP. Then we walked over to Everest and the single rider line said 40 mins but ended up being about 12 mins. Dinosaur had way too long of a line so we shopped a bit more and did some pin trading. We headed back to PORiverside and had some late lunch and debated our plan of attack.
We ended up taking a cab to the Poly for some cocktails and then monorailing to MK for our 6pm fastpass for Haunted Mansion, and then one for Peter Pan. It was crazy in there. I mean almost crazier than Epcot on NYE. You couldn't walk around, long lines for the bathroom, etc. We waited about 20 mins to ride It's a Small World because it was one of the shortest lines. We walked over and waited about 15 mins for the Peoplemover and then we decided we really had had enough. My personal space had been invaded way too many times that evening ;) We walked back out towards the front (and were led out behind tomorrowland.) Wishes was just starting as we made our way to a boat back to Poly for a light dinner at the sushi bar area near the doors to the monorail.
We grabbed a cab back to POR around 9:30 and I hit the hay. Drove home yesterday from 7am-2:30pm in pretty good time considering I hit rain and the post holiday traffic.
I might do a little all in all recap about the NYE/Day experience...(after I get some real work done.)
