I will once again be heading to Disney in September. Current dates are:

Arriving Sunday August 31st, Leaving Saturday September 6th.

Resort Stay: Disney's Saratoga Springs September 2nd to September 6. No accommodations for August 31st to September 2 yet. Still trying to decide where to stay. Have to pay for the two nights, but not sure if I want two nights by Universal or just stay in the Disney bubble.

Epic Universe is the only theme park planned for the week.

Thanks faline. I am really looking forward to Epic Universe. I promised myself no Disney theme parks, just resort stay. Relax by pool. Go see other things. And yet, I keep getting drawn to wanting to do the parks. UGH.... Disney park obsession is not good lol.

I  have not yet been to the new Epic park but I keep hearing that the majority of the rides there are weather dependent and can be shut down if the weather is bad - particularly if a thunderstorm is in the area so do keep forecasts in mind when planning your visit.

Dining!!! I have been watching videos and all places seem delish. Also, I wouldn't mind your opinion on the rides and lands. Also, how long the lines were for the attractions and meet and greets.

Yea I heard the same thing which I thought was a little weird since they are mostly inside. I can see the outdoors rides, but the inside rides I find that funny they close. But safety has to come first. I can see rain playing havoc with Isle of Burk though. Everything there is outdoors.

Hotel booked for August 31st to September 2nd. We are staying on Hotel Plaza Boulevard at Drury Resort. Heard great things about the place. Watched many YouTube videos and every one was positive. Booked a room with a balcony and fireworks view. Free breakfast and free dinner? Yea I will take that, thank you. Save me money! Checking out September 2nd and driving to Epic Universe.

Also, dinner plans made for Maria and Enzo's for arrival day (August 31st), and breakfast at Kona on that Wednesday. No Disney park plans yet, but I am thinking of hitting up MK only, just to check out the new parade. Video and live stream does not do it for me. Makes the parade feel like it is missing something. Have to see it in person to really judge.

My plans are kind of finally in order:

August 30 - Leaving NJ and stopping overnight in Manning, SC. Will probably have dinner at Shoney's. I always do so why ruin tradition at this point.

August 31 - Check out and finish the drive to Floirda. Staying at Drury Resort at Hotel Plaza Boulevard for 2 nights. No plans for arrival day other than eating dinner at the hotel, grabbing some coffee, and sitting on the balcony at night watching (hopefully I get the fireworks view I booked) the Disney fireworks.

September 1 - No plans just yet. Breakfast at hotel with their free breakfast buffet. Was debating heading over to the two Disney Character Warehouse stores, and maybe ICON Park. And possibly having dinner there as well. Was looking at Ole Red Restaurant. Have evening reservations for Beaches and Cream for some ice cream.

September 2 - Checking out of Drury, and heading to Epic Universe. No set plans for Epic. Not sure how long we are staying. And not sure where we are dining for dinner. Breakfast is at Drury. After Epic, I will be heading over to Saratoga Springs and checking into my DVC resort portion of the trip.

September 3 - Going to be a MK day. Only Disney park we are doing. And only because I want to see Disney Starlight. Booked breakfast at Kona Cafe. I need my yearly Tonga Toast, though I understand they changed how prepared it. Couldn't make a dining reservation for the time I was looking for, so no booked dining. Just going to wing it. Casey's is always a good option,

September 4 - Another free day and another day with nothing planned. Was thinking of doing either a resort hop or pool day. Leaning toward resort hopping. No breakfast or dinner dining booked. Planning on ending the hopping at Wilderness Lodge and having a delish bison burger at Geyser Point. Was also thinking of then going over to Contemporary and hanging out on the outside balcony watching the Halloween fireworks with the music pumped in.

September 5 - Final day, free day. No breakfast dining booked. But I have my final dinner of the trip booked for Maria and Enzo's. My father and I enjoy this restaurant. Usually I book it the first night, but figured I make it the last night this time. Friday will either be a pool day or resort hop. But leaning toward pool day. Staying by the resort and just relaxing. The head over to Disney Springs. Do some shopping (MAYBE), and have dinner. Then back to the resort and relaxing. Finish packing and sleep.

September 6 - Say goodbye, till next time, to Disney World. Staying in Rocky Mount for the evening. Winging dinner, but probably Outback since it is right by my hotel. And probably just kick back and watch college football the rest of the night.

September 7 - Back on the road. Arrive home. Another trip complete.

No parks. Just looking for a bit of a relaxing trip. Going to feel weird not going to the parks.
