May be a little early for a trip report, but I'm listening to Soarin music and it made me excited!
Who - My 16 year old son and I. Leaving my college 19 yr old DD and my DH at home!
Where - Beach Club
When - Nov 13 - 17
How - Southwest (usually JetBlue, but got a great rate on SW)
Why - I did a special trip with my DD when she turned 16 (NYC) . When i asked my son what he wanted to do, he said my favorite words, 'Lets go to Disney!"
Can't even tell you how excited we both are. He's not embarrassed to be hanging out with just me and he gets the magic. DD and DH are fans but not like we are. We are huge Poly lovers and weren't turned off by the construction. (DS and I are very laid back!) but we will be at Epcot a lot so thought it was a good time to try something different. The Poly is our "family" place so we can go back the next time its (hopefully) the 4 of us!

FP+ made with no trouble. I know we can park hop after our first 3 but would much rather just have 3 all day that can be in different parks, just works better for us. We used FP+ last year in testing before the tier. We had some issues and I did email Disney and received a phone call from a very nice cast member to talk about it. Overall like FP+ better then running around in the old system. I'am a little OCD when it comes to planning so its good for us.
I requested either a ground floor room or a large balcony as sitting outside taking in the ambience is something we both like to do. If any Beach club have any thoughts, would love to hear them.
