Final Thoughts:
Loved the ME....great free way to get to your Disney Hotel
Still hate FP+ system and having to plan attractions 60 days out...hate the tier system at EPCOT. Still feel they have created grid lock where there never was before at all of the parks.
Loved the POFQ. While this is a moderate resort, I loved the closeness of everything and the theme was great.
Still don't like the bus system but it is a way for people who do not want to drive to get around.
Love the Magic Band as a Room Key, Park Ticket, and Fast Pass Ticket.
Things like the Passport Book, Hidden Mickeys, and P&F Adventure are great ways to spend a day especially for kids that go to Disney a lot.....something different to do.
Liked not having to deal with drunks this year at the F&W but Sept is too humid for me and I don't like worrying about the chance of rain everyday.
EPCOT has gotten too sparse. They need to pump us the volume at that place.
Food was good as always...Can't remember having anything that wasn't good. But would love to see half portions for us smaller eaters.
Disney popcorn...had it everyday. :thumbsup:

I enjoyed reading all about the trip you and Mary had. What a lucky niece -- to have an aunt take her on such a special trip!! Wonderful memories for both of you for years to come!!

Oh the one thing I forgot to mention in the original post was that Mary, as no nonsense as she is, loved the man who stood outside of the door everyday at the French Quarter and handed out wishing coins. She looked forward to it every day and was disappointed on our last day when he wasn't there. IMO that is the kind of thing that gives Disney it's magic.
Also, I mentioned Mary got one of the Haunted Mansion pictures done. Again, this kind of thing is what used to set Disney apart from the other theme parks. They need to get back to creating unique experiences like this for their guests.
