Heading south for a trip to Disney Vero Beach resort and Port St. Lucie to see The Mets. A quick stop on the way back at the end of the week at Boardwalk Villas for 2 nights. Not a park trip, just dinner and resort hopping and maybe miniature golf. Couldn't justify spending so much $$$$ on a one day ticket for the 3 of us. It will be hard to resist since the Flower and Garden Festival is my favorite.
Has anyone tried the new bake shop on the Boardwalk?
Sounds like a very full trip!! I haven't been to the new Cake shop but a friend told me she had lunch there recently and enjoyed it.

I will definitely stop in and check it out.
We just got back from a stay at BWV and we REALLY wanted to try it out. Reservations were not to be had last minute so we went just to pick up a couple slices of cake.
Inside the store was absolutely beautiful! The displays were very well done and the line was handled efficiently. But, it was $50 for two slices of cake and they were just ok. Glad we tried it but we will not be going back.
It is a place that you have to try at least once and then decide for your self if you will go back.

Mimi please feel free to try as many items at the Cake Bake Shop as you want and let us know if it was worth it. So you might blow your budget and have to return home early. If that happens think about how you will help us to know what not to do. Who knows? You might even inspire an intercot "Don't spend money like Mimi" T-shirt. That's publicity you just can't buy. Unless of course you buy one of the T-shirts.
