I'm hearing that annual passholders can sometimes get up to 30% off on hotel - and I did the math - to make it worthwhile if one of us got a pass, we'd have to save roughly $200 to come out ahead. My question is, how LIKELY is it to get a good discount like that? There's certainly nothing showing on their website at the moment. I imagine they only do it in really low times, so I don't know how a May trip would fit into that. Aside fro a resort discount, I'm not seeing any perks that look really useful.

I have a UOAP. I was down last week and there were AP discounts for that time period that had been released months ago, but they do sell out. Perks depend on the level of AP purchased. Seasonal AP (cheapest) basically just gets you admission and it goes up from there.
The biggest onsite hotel perk for the original 3 hotels is the Free Express Pass. All 5 hotels get early entry, but only PBR, HRH and RPR get the express
