Is Universal Preparing to Close Marverl Superhero Island?

Rumors started circulating this weekend that Universal Studios Florida was preparing to or planning for a replacement for Marvel Superhero Island. There is nothing concrete that is this happening, and any time soon. In fact, Spiderman is going down for refurbishment in October (rumors are to either remove the 3D or to add new Scoops, ride vehicles). Also, the replacement rumors don't make sense. Pokemon was one rumor, but that is also rumored to go into Simpsons when that closes. Zelda was another rumor, but that is also rumored for Lost Continent. Also, closing MSHI makes little sense. Why give your competitor their biggest IP to use in the same city as you? And the money paid to Disney is minimal really. But who knows? I would think one day Universal would remove marvel, but there are other areas in more dire need of removal and replacement (Cartoon Lagoon).
