I am thinking about purchasing an annual pass in August. My DD is starting the college program and I know that I will be there will over the Christmas holiday and beyond. What AP room discount have been available in the past? If any?:mickey::marg:

There have not been AP discounts over the holiday, they usually end around 12/21-23 and pick up again 1/1. I'm not sure if checking in by a certain date gives you length of stay as some packages do, hopefully someone can confirm. The discount has been running 20-30% with last years offer being 20-25%.

There are also discounts for dining and merchandise. I believe those range anywhere from 10% to 20% depending on where and when you shop and/or dine.
For example, recently, AP holders got a 20% discount on all purchases at Disney owned shops in the parks. This even included snacks in those shops. Sometimes TS dining will offer a lunch discount, but nearly always it will be given at dinner. The AP comes with a benefits card that explains where you receive your discounts.
